Khadija Shams studied PhD in Economics at the University of Glasgow, UK; and was employed by the Scottish Government in the Equality Statistics Team of the Communities Analytical Services Division. She is presently working as an Associate Professor in Economics at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar, Pakistan. Her area of interest includes: Economics of Inequality and Deprivation; Economics of Happiness and Development Studies.

Dr. Mohd Taufik Bin Mohd Suffian is a Senior Accounting Lecturer at the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Financial Criminology from UiTM. He is an Associate Chartered Management Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). His areas of interest are corporate governance, earnings management, earnings quality, financial criminology, financial reporting, ownership structure, and taxation. He was appointed as a Visiting Scholar at the Universitas Indonesia for 2 years from 2021 until 2023. He has received many grants, locally and internationally.
Dr. Muhammad Faizal Samat, a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurial Marketing from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, is currently a senior lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. His research interests include entrepreneurship and marketing. He holds certification in Diploma in Professional Digital Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
Prof Dr. Susana Álvarez-Otero is an Associate Professor of Financial Economics and Accounting at the University of Oviedo (Spain) and a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management. Her research focuses on the valuation of IPOs, the analysis of mutual funds, and CSR. Research Visitor at the University of Cambridge. Awarded Prize for Financial Studies in Spain.
Prof Dr. Andreas Karaoulanis is a very experienced professional with more than two decades in several industries in different countries in managerial and C- suit positions. Author of 5 books with international publishing houses. International speaker. Researcher and reviewer in many international journals. Lecturer with Kaunas University of Applied Sciences Lithuania (my affiliation for this conference), Swiss School of Business Research (PhD and DBA supervisor), Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Experienced after collaborating with 10 universities and colleges in the last years. Holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in engineering, a MBA in industrial management and economics, a master’s degree in decision support and risk analysis, and a DBA in business management.
